The Hueytown High School Choral Department is one of many activities found at Hueytown High School, located in Hueytown, Alabama. The Choral Department, under the direction of Mr. Bradley Wilson, consists of five choirs: Women's Choir, Men's Choir, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir. All choirs consistently receive excellent and/or superior ratings at both district and state performance evaluations.

All choirs meet every day of the school week. Choir students develop their vocal skills, enhance their sight-reading skills, learn proper breathing, proper vocal health, elements of music theory and history, and develop a unity of purpose - excellence.

In recent years, the choir has grown from less than 10 students in 2003 to over 100 students strong in 2015. Each year a number of our students are selected to participate in the Jefferson County All-County Choir, Alabama All-State Choir, and Alabama Music Educators Association Honor Choir. The HHS Choral Department has produced numerous college music majors, many of whom were recipients of scholarships. The choirs annually perform and place in choral competitions and festivals across the country. While the students of each choir strive for excellence in their musical endeavors, they also apply life lessons and discipline learned through choral singing to their everyday lives.
