Announcements


  • Senior male athletes who are interested in applying for the Allen Phillips Memorial Scholarship need to see Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Allen, or their coach to pick up an application. Applications are due April 20th.   

  • If you are interested in Hueytown’s Athletic Training Student Aid Program for the upcoming season of 2017-2018 please come see Mr. Dennis in the Athletic Training Room located in the gym during 5th period. This is for current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. All documents will need to be turned in by Friday April 14th to be considered. 

  • Attention upcoming juniors and seniors! If you are interested in working for pay, experience, early dismissal, and a grade that may boost your GPA, Co-op is for you. Please complete the application process by accessing the website from the QR Code on the posted flyers. For more information, contact Mrs. Hicks in room 267.

  • Any student that will be a Senior next year that would like to take the Dual Enrollment EMT class, go by room 105 and pick an application. This is Dual Enrollment with Bevill State Community College and you will earn 10 semester hours that will transfer.

  • The deadline to sign up for the May ACT is Friday, April 9thClick HERE to register. See your counselor if you need help registering for the ACT. Do not wait until the last minute to register. Students on free or reduced lunch may be eligible for a fee waiver. See you counselor for one.

  • No students are allowed to park in the front parking lot. This includes early dismissals and delayed school day students.
  • First Priority meets Thursday morning at 7:30 AM in the lecture hall. Join us for a time of student led worship and bible study as we make Him our First Priority. 
If you are taking the ACT this Saturday, be in the cafeteria by 8:00 am with a current and valid photo ID, your Admission ticket with photo printed out on it, pencils, a calculator, and snacks (if needed). If you do not have a current and valid photo ID, see your counselor ASAP for help. Do not wait until the last minute and make sure you come prepared
